The Conservation Regulator is seeking information from the public regarding the alleged shooting of a Peregrine Falcon near Romsey.
The injured bird was found by a member of the public on Ochiltrees Road, Romsey on the 21 April 2021.
The bird was taken to the Romsey Veterinary Clinic for assessment, where an x-ray taken of the bird showed what is believed to be shot gun pellets in one of its wings. Metal fragments were also removed from the wing. The bird was euthanised due to its injuries.
