Crime Stoppers Victoria has achieved record breaking results. During the past year Crime Stoppers recorded 120,899 contacts, an increase of over 24% compared to the previous year.
Information to the organisation resulted in 1,157 arrests, averaging over 22 arrests each week, with 3,361 charges laid.
Additionally, the new data shows information from the public has contributed to the seizure of an estimated street value of more than $27 million in illegal drugs, $1,337,437 in cash, and $2,866,748 worth of criminal assets.
