The campaign aims to raise awareness of these impacts and encourage community reporting.
Wanted Retail Crime Offenders
Retail crime continues to impact businesses, workers and communities across Victoria. In 2025, around 5,400 repeat offenders accounted for 40% of all crime in the state. Crime Stoppers Victoria and Victoria Police are seeking community assistance to help identify offenders and support investigations.

Many retail workers are young and early in their working lives. The Real Cost of Retail Crime campaign encourages Victorians to help protect frontline workers by reporting information anonymously.
