The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) are seeking public assistance for any information relating to an incident that occurred at a property at Cape Bridgewater, Portland between November and January 2020.

It is alleged a significant number of koalas were killed and injured due to land clearing activities.

DELWP is investigating this incident and alleged offences relating to the Destruction of Wildlife and Cruelty.

All wildlife in Victoria is protected under the Wildlife Act 1975 and serious penalties apply to violation of the Act.
