Encryption

Encryption is the process of converting original information into an alternative unrecognisable form.

Every time we send a text or email it is encrypted. When you click send, the message is scrambled into an unreadable format called cipher text. When the message recipient opens the message, it is translated back to its original form which is called decryption.

Encryption ensures your data is secure at all time, your privacy is protected, and that data is also protected across multiple devices.

Many organisations, including BankVic, uses CAPTCHA verification to help keep hackers out of people’s accounts. This next-level security provides extra data protection by generating text that humans can read, but computers cannot.
