THEFT – BRUNSWICK – SATURDAY, 12 OCTOBER 2019

Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man after an alleged theft in Brunswick on Saturday, 12 October 2019.

At about 6.50pm a male offender has allegedly approached a locked bicycle outside 90 Sydney Road in Brunswick.  The offender has used an unknown tool to break the lock and took the bike heading south on Sydney Road.

Police have released CCTV images of two men whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.

The male offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, with a medium build and short brown hair, approximately 35 years old.

He was wearing a green jacket, blue jeans and black runners. He was also wearing a black cap, black and white bandana around the neck and sunglasses on top of his head.

The witness is perceived to be a male, Caucasian in appearance, and approximately 45 years old with a slim build and wavy, medium length hair.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper, light blue jeans and brown runners. The witness was also wearing sunglasses, a black cap and was carrying a red and black backpack
