INTENTIONALLY CAUSING INJURY – MELBOURNE – TUESDAY, 19 MARCH 2019

Police are seeking to identify a man after an alleged incident on Tuesday, 19 March 2019 which occurred in transit between Melbourne and Flemington Bridge Tram Stop.

Between the hours of 11:00pm and 11:39pm the victim boarded the 59 tram at the intersection of Bourke and Elizabeth Street in Melbourne. The alleged offender then approached the victim, standing very close to him when a verbal argument ensued.

The man then allegedly intentionally caused injury to the victim, before disembarking from the tram.

Police have released a face fit image of a man whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20’s with blue eyes and
messy shoulder length blonde hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured cap and a white and black horizontal striped collared shirt.
