Police are seeking public assistance to identify two men after an alleged criminal damage on tram route 96 on Friday, 6 September 2019.
At 9.30pm, it is alleged that a group of men boarded the tram at stop 18 (Nicholson/Freeman Street) and two of them started drawing graffiti on the walls of the tram.
The group is believed to have exited the tram at 9.41pm at stop 11 (Nicholson/Melbourne Museum).
Police have released CCTV images of two men whom they believe may be able to assist in their inquiries.
The first man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, thin build with short dark hair.
He was wearing a black jacket, white t shirt and green-and-pink printed bucket hat.
The second man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, medium build with dark shoulder-length hair and a light moustache.
He was wearing a black zip-up jacket over a blue jumper, black pants and white sneakers.
