Crime Stoppers will be targeting Mildura and Swan Hill for a two week intensive Dob in a Dealer campaign from Tuesday, 19 April to gather information about local drug dealing activity.

Following the success of the 2015 Dob in a Dealer program, Mildura and Swan Hill residents are once again being urged to contact Crime Stoppers to confidentially report any information relating to people who may be bringing harmful drugs into the local community.

Campaigns held in Mildura, Swan Hill and Echuca during May last year resulted in a 100 per cent increase in Information Reports to Crime Stoppers, while a targeted cross border campaign rolled out in August contributed to a 110 per cent increase.

There was a 168 per cent increase in drug-related Information Reports across the state during the Dob in a Dealer campaign.
