Crime Stoppers Victoria announces new CEO

The Board of Crime Stoppers Victoria (CSV) is proud to announce the appointment of Erika Owens to the position of Chief Executive Officer of CSV.

Erika’s appointment follows the culmination of an exhaustive executive search process which attracted numerous candidates of high calibre. Erika has held a number of senior leadership roles in both the Victorian Public Sector and the Not-For-Profit Sector, overseeing large teams and heading up a volunteer workforce of 5,000 volunteers across Victoria during her career. This includes organisations such as Relationships Australia Victoria, the Victorian Community Council against Violence and several roles with the Department of Justice.

Erika comes to CSV with expertise in stakeholder management, provision of strategic, operational and business services and policy and program reform. We are particularly excited by Erika’s success in business development and her passion for developing staff.

Erika’s educational qualifications include an Executive Masters of Public Administration and Graduate Diploma in Arts (Criminology), both from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Australian Cultural Studies) from Victoria University.

Erika will commence with CSV on Monday 16th October 2017 at which time she will join us to launch the annual national Crime Stoppers Australia Conference in Melbourne.
