Crime Stoppers Victoria (CSV) has a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Communications/Projects Officer to join the Crime Stoppers team based in our Docklands office in Melbourne. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications.
CSV is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors and managed by a CEO. Established in 1987, CSV works with the community to help make Victoria a safer place.
The Grants and Projects Officer is a new position at Crime Stoppers Victoria (CSV). The role requires excellent written communication skills with an aptitude for business systems and structure. The ideal applicant will be an excellent business writer with demonstrated experience in grant writing and the preparation of acquittals, business reports and policies and procedures. A strong interest in governance and risk management is desirable.
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services, this position is responsible for monitoring,identifying, and preparing grant submissions for funding opportunities aligned to CSV’s strategicplan. Additional duties will include producing detailed project reports, and developing documentation for CSV policies and procedures.
An important focus of the role will be capturing and communicating the Crime Stoppers Victoria strategic vision in a variety of formats to a broad array of stakeholders. Your success will be actively improving business practices and funding outcomes at CSV.
The position is full time, 37.5 hours per week, although may include the requirement to undertake weekend work with flexible working hours across the week.
